Hi. My name is Wendy, and I'm from North Olmsted, OH. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent University, and teach 1st through 8th graders. I graduated cum laude, and for 5 years I was PTU President. Specific subjects that I have tutored in are elementary math, reading, writing, essay editing, pre-algebra, and test prep. I also teach technology and computer science. I have been a teacher and tutor for 19 years, and still enjoy each time I can enhance the learning experience of my students. I stayed home with my two boys for a decade while simultaneously teaching and tutoring students at many different levels. My job was to get to know each student, and figure out what worked best for them to retain information.In my experience, I have found that each individual student will learn things differently. I have always been able to cater to each of their unique needs, and recognize each of their strengths and weaknesses. Once those are identified, then we have a better chance to move forward in a positive direction. When I am not teaching, I just love to watch movies with my kids. It is one of my favorite pastimes, as well as reading, running and bike riding.
